Thanks Amberr! I know most of us need to be reminded about this around the holidays. The funniest movie about the Holidays is the Holly Hunter one called “Home for the Holidays.” It has it all. The drama and craziness that we forget about when we don’t see each other for a time. Happy I could remind you.

Hi Elaine – I know what you mean. I have my grandmother’s Menorah and finally figured out that I can set some wax paper under it so the wax doesn’t destroy the table, and then after the Holidays I put it in the freezer for just about an hour and the wax comes right off. ;-D

Nice post, Beth. Communities do rise to the occasion when crises occur. The community of Gander, Newfoundland also falls within this category. They took in stranded travelers the week of 9-11, many into their homes while they waited until flights from overseas could use U.S. air space again. They are unsung heroes.
