Valentine’s Day and all that

February 13, 2010
by Beth Terry

Exasperated by all the stories of bad online experiences and broken hearts, my friend Julie Theroux and I decided it was high time we combine forces and create another blog to help out the lovelorn. She is a Professional Face Reader and has been called in as an expert by Attorneys, courts, corporations, and individuals for more than 20 years. When she read my face to me, I was floored. So I had her read the face of a man I was meeting for the first time the next day. She nailed it. I had more information about him than I he probably did. Being careful about confirmation bias, I just observed and listened. It was amazing.

Out of that was born Face it Darlin’ -- a blog that will focus on Relationship Advice. We’d love to have you visit and subscribe to the feed. it’s going to be quite a romp! We’ve already posted a piece I wrote a few years ago after my darling boyfriend at the time TOTALLY blew Valentine’s Day. Rather than get mad, I got creative and wrote it all down. My next book is almost done – and this will be one of the chapters. You can read it here.  And while you’re at it, take the Poll! Tell Your Friends! Come Play with us! Send in pictures and tell us your stories. We are very excited and want to make this work for everyone!

Cheers,

Beth

Beth, I’m confused. Clicking thru to read the rest of the article (on Face It Darling) goes off to a pdf file? And your whole blog is posted there as a comment? feel free to delete this comment of mine, wasn’t sure how else to contact you.
Oh and happy Valentine’s – I have dinner booked for tomorrow. :-D

Hi – We are still working out the bugs. I created that blog yesterday. Still not sure how to make it so people can ask questions and then Julie and I can respond. I posted the article as a PDF because it’s too long to put in the blog – it would run on too long. And, the book isn’t published yet, so I didn’t want the article running all over the internet without attribution before I got it published in the book (as so many of those tear jerker emails do – that actually came from Chicken Soup books and other speaker’s signature stories!) It’s tough to maintain intellectual property rights these days… dampens creativity!

      Happy valentines day!
