Love this Economist blog on a little gizmo that attaches to your appliances and tells you how much of an energy vampire each one of them is. Gives you a lot more control over your electric bill. Read about the potential smart grid being developed as we speak. He says if half the American households cut energy by 10% it would be like taking 8 million cars off the road in energy savings.
