Are You Ready to Party? Join the World’s Biggest Blog Party!
What this ailing world needs is more good news. The world is full of wonderful people who make a difference every day just by showing up. So, several of my friends decided it was time we flood the cyberwaves with good vibes. Thus, the World’s Biggest Blog Party was born.
Since October 27 is Make a Difference Day, that will be the start of a three week online love fest and charity drive. All of us who are involved will be blogging about our favorite charities in between our other posts. We hope you will join in, comment, and spread the word. If you read a post that moves you to donate a little time, energy, or money – that’s even better!

Here’s the scoop about our party right from the WBBP site:
Who: Bloggers from all over the world
What: An online event starting on October 27th (Make A Difference Day) through November 17th (Family Volunteering Day)
How: Each day, party goers (bloggers) will blog about a charity, philanthropy, or event that is making the world a better place. They also be encouraged to write about a person who is an inspirational leader in that organization or someone who just believes in helping others. Bloggers can write in their privacy of their own homes or they can invite friends to join them for planned blog parties at a coffee shop, restaurant, or pub. Check back to see if there is a “live†party happening near you.
